I responded a to Craigslist ad and bought a Kenmore made by Gritzner. Then as we were leaving, the lady said, my mother had another machine. It’s in the basement. Uh oh... My hesitant husband went down to the basement and there it was. The pressor foot lifter was froze up, and it was missing the accessory tray. It was housed in a wooden cabinet with a matching insert so you could sew it flat with the table. No manual, but have since found one on EBay. Nice machine. I liked it so much that I bought another “ for parts”. This one needs help too. The needle right position doesn’t work. I will take it to Smith Owen in Grand Rapids and he will fix this one too. What I like about the machine. It sews precise, slow and fast. It feels a little more heavy duty, but not clunky like my Pfaff 6 felt. It also has that ugly brown color which is so 80’s. I guess I like the machines from the 80s. I also like Pfaff’s feet, the IDT and that it doesn’t beep at you.

Yes, the advice about the switch, hooking it up to a surge protector will be followed. I noticed the switch seems like it could go.
